Our two-year old program will guide your child as they begin to gain their own independence.  As your child makes advances in their speaking ability, the teachers will reinforce their language development by providing choices; reading, singing, speaking, and reciting nursery rhymes.  Through the use of language, these young children will better recognize colors and shapes.

Young children are interested in exploring their environment through their senses.  A great deal of study and foresight was spent selecting classroom materials that are purposeful and aid children in their discovery. 

Your child will enjoy being in the presence of other children in their age group.  As they socialize, and participate in parallel play, they will learn sharing and successful skills in social interaction.  These are opportunites that not all day care or child care settings can offer.

Specific time will be devoted to helping your child to develop their gross motor activity.  At this age, your child is learning to balance their growing body, run, jump, and climb.  Our tot lot offers a safe environment for your child to experience these newly developing techniques.

Plenty of opportunities will be offered for transitions, snack time, lunch and rest time.
